Another Runout

Fresh off the eventual announcement of the completion of Jadon Sancho's move to United, the reds face QPR tomorrow afternoon following this week's training camp in Surrey. The squad is majorly similar to that which beat Wayne Rooney's Derby County last week, bolstered by the additions of the returning Scott McTominay and Dan James. Donny van de Beek and Anthony Martial are back in training, though alone at Carrington as oppose to in Surrey with the rest of the squad.

Youth proved a predominant feature of last weekend's pre-season opener, with the likes of Facundo Pellistri proving their worth amidst the absence of many senior figureheads. There will once again be opportunities for many of these youngsters tomorrow afternoon, with the expectance that Solskjaer could make near-enough wholesale changes at the interval once again - developing the match fitness of a wide array of players.

QPR finished nine points shy of the Championship play offs last term (behind Cardiff on goal difference), missing out on promotion back to the Premier League once again after relegation in 2015. They failed to progress past the third round in both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup, winning only 41% of their league matches throughout the 2020/21 season.
